Awards

​Eventing Year End Awards
Submission Deadline for 2025 TBD

Qualifications:
  • Must be a CDCTA Member at the time of competition.
  • Three Scores from 11/11/2024 to 11/09/2025 are required.
  • Awards are for the same horse/rider combination.  Multiple submissions are allowed.
  • Must compete in at least 2 of the 4 2025 CDCTA schooling shows
  • Judge must be “L” or above.
  • Volunteer hours: Minimum of 4.

Eventing Categories:  Schooling Event or USEA Recognized Event

Scores:
  • Three placings/completions from one level must be submitted. 
    • HC rides do not count towards Year End Award placement.
  • You must submit verification of the show results.  This means YOU have to provide results supporting the placing and number of starters (and score for Ernie Award) for each show results submitted.  
    • Copy of show results can be either a picture of the Results Board at the show, or a printout of the published results from the Event’s website.
  • If placement cannot be verified, submission will not count toward Year End Award points.

Awards: 
Awards are based upon placing at each event and number of riders who start your division. 
Eventing Placement Points Chart can be found on the Year End Submission Paper Form
  • Ribbons and Prizes for Champion through 6th place.
  • Ernie Trophy – awarded to the best dressage score in either a Dressage or Eventing competition received by a Junior or Adult Amateur.

Divisions:  
  • Professional, Adult Amateur and Junior (under 18 on December 1, 2022).  
    • Award divisions may be combined at CDCTA’s discretion.

Levels:   Pre-E, E, AE, BN, N, T
