Dressage Year End Awards

General Dressage Year End Award Criteria

Qualifications:

• Must be CDCTA Member at the time of competition.
• Scores from 11/11/2024 to 11/09/2025 are eligible.
• Awards are for the same horse/rider combination. Multiple submissions are allowed.
• Volunteer hours at CDCTA schooling shows or CDCTA organized clinics: Minimum of 4 

Scores:

• Three scores from one level must be submitted, but they can be from any test within that level.
• Please copy the front of the dressage test, which should include: location, date, judge, and score.
• Minimum score of 52% is required.
• Scores must be from at least 2 different judges.

Levels: Intro, Training, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, FEI, Freestyle

Divisions: 

• Professional, Adult Amateur and Junior (under 18 on December 1, 2024).
• Award divisions may be combined at CDCTA’s discretion.

Awards

• Ribbons and Prizes for Champion through 6th place.
• Ernie Trophy – awarded to the best dressage score in either a Dressage or Eventing competition received by a Jr or Adult amateur.

Year End Award Schooling Dressage: Specific Criteria

In addition to the general information above you must also:
Qualifications:

• Ride in at least 2 of the 4 CDCTA Schooling Shows.
• Two of your scores must come from two different CDCTA Schooling Shows (11/11/2024 to 11/09/2025).
• Judge must be “L” or above.

Scores:

• The third score can be from either a Non-CDCTA open show or from a third CDCTA show,

Year End Award Recognized Dressage: Specific Criteria

In addition to the general information above you must also:
Qualifications:

• One recognized dressage show score from 11/11/2024 to 11/09/2025 is required. This is in addition to the two scores from the required CDCTA shows.
• Judge must be “r” or above.

Scores:

• Three scores must be from at least 2 different judges.
