A Great Day for a Dressage Symposium
Our clinician for the day was Pierre St. Jacques, an international rider and trainer who has earned his gold medal and had a long show career on his now retired mount, Lucky Tiger. We were so fortunate to have a clinician of his caliber. From an organizer’s viewpoint, I was extremely proud of the quality of horses and riders representing our area and CDCTA and thankful to the Dressage Foundation’s Hopkins Grant for providing funding so the program would be affordable for the awesome demo riders/horses and studious auditors.
The remarkable difference in horses and riders in such a short period of time (half hour rider time with a 15-minute question and answer) was unmistakable. The demo riders helped me with this article with their following comments:
