Why Become a Member?

The CDCTA is a volunteer run non-profit, that is
dedicated to promoting
horse care and safety; encouraging classical training of the horse; offering
instruction, education and competition opportunities; and recognizing the
achievements of our members.
Some of what we offer:

Clinics - We run numerous clinics throughout the year in both dressage and combined training, with past Clinicians including Jimmy Wofford,
Kerry Milllikin, Jane Ayer, Jorn Kulbelke, Max Gahwyler,
Marcia Kulak, Sally Cousins and Wendy Olson-Lewis.
Members get reduced entry prices in all our Clinics
as well as preference if a Clinic is oversubscribed.

Shows - The CDCTA runs two
Schooling Dressage and Combined Tests each year, as well as
a USEA/USDF Recognized Dressage Show in the Fall.
Members get reduced entry prices in all our Schooling
Shows.

Year-End Awards - Every January
we hold an Awards Luncheon at which we give out Awards to
members in both Dressage and Eventing for both schooling
(including one CDCTA Schooling Show) as well as recognized
shows and events.

Scholarships - Quarterly
Scholarships are available to members. These may be
used to attend a Clinic,Workshop or Seminar.

CDCTA Newsletter - The CDCTA
newsletter is published 10 times a month (with combined
Nov/Dec and Jan/Feb issues). The newsletter keeps
members up to date on activities and accomplishments of its
members, as well as entry forms to our sponsored events.
Members can also receive free advertising in our
Classifieds. The Newsletter is now available by Email
also!

Horseman's Yankee Pedlar - Free
subscription to The Pedlar (for dues paid before May 1 of
that year). Benefits also include 1 free Classified
Ad, 1 free Pedlar Prospect Ad as well as other benefits per
year.
The CDCTA relies on its members to help
support and run the numerous events that we run every year.
Members are given preference in Clinics that are oversubscribed,
as well as reduced rates for all its Clinics and Schooling
Shows.
