***NEW*** Notes from the Board (November)

We have concluded all the events for CDCTA for 2014. What a busy year it was. Now it is time to start thinking about filling out the Year-End Award forms and get them sent in. We are working on correcting the closing date on the website. On the opening page December 1 is listed. That is incorrect. On the form itself it has NOVEMBER 19. That is correct. So if you plan to apply for year-end awards please have them in by November 19.

The annual meeting and banquet planning is well underway and the raffle donations are coming in. CDCTA welcomes Shelia Murphy to our club. Sheila will be the manager of the shows this year, assisted by Robin Cassella and myself. Thank you Sheila for taking this on. I would also like to thank member Tracey Woods for becoming the secretary for the Shows.

Last but not least, the calendar is almost full. So far we have, the 3 schooling shows, a Recognized Dressage show, an unmounted Centered Ridng Clinic, a symposium on the new Dressage tests, a possible Dressage clinic and an eventing clinic. We are also planning a clinic with, arttoride. Please go to and put in attoride and check him out. Is this something that you will attend? If so to audit or ride in. Please let Robin Cassella know, at . Any other clinic suggestions?
See everyone at the Banquet.

Thanks for being a member

There are changes to the year-end award criteria this year. They are as follows,

1. You need to get 2 of your year-end schooling scores from 2 different CDCTA schooling shows to be eligible for a year-end Schooling show award.

2. You need to have a score from the CDCTA recognized dressage show to be eligible for a CDCTA recognized dressage year-end award.

CDCTA has affiliated with The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.) for 2014 to offer high point ribbons. Click here for details.

Please note, the volunteer voucher program has been suspended for 2014. Any voucher that were issued in 2013 will be honored. We still have lots of benefits to those who generously give their time to support the club. An update will be coming shortly once we finalize the details.
