18th ANNUAL CDCTA SILENT AUCTION - MARCH 26, 2010

  - it's back and gets better every year.  Be sure to mark your calendars and get your friends together for an evening of good food, drinks and awesome items up for auction.  Have something you want to donate?  Click Here  Please post our flyer at your local barns and tack shops!  Remember, money raised at the auction helps subsidize our clinics and activities throughout the year!  DONATION LIST posted 3/1/10 - check back often for updates.

CDCTA Winter Clinic/Lecture Series

    - The first one is over, but there are still two more clinics to get you ready for spring showing!

    - March 21st - Stadium Jumping Clinic with Sally Hinkle at Mystic Valley Hunt Club.  Come polish your skills and get your horse out for a stadium brush up!  Get your horse back into competition form and get out of your boring winter  routine.

    - April 25 - Cross Country Clinic with Ann Bowie at Horse Power Farm.  Come join us to get outside, get over the spring jitters and sharpen your cross country skills to get ready for the early competitions. 

    - February 21 - Musical Freestyle Clinic with Ann Guptill, Fox Ledge Farm, East Haddam, CT

    - March 21 - Stadium Jumping Clinic with Sally Hinkle, Mystic Valley Hunt Club, Gales Ferry, CT

    - April 25 - Cross Country Clinic with Ann Bowie, Horse Power Farm, Canterbury, CT

2010 MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION IS NOW POSTED.  Don't forget about the Early Bird Special!

2010 Calendar is coming together.  The Board sat down and has pulled together the various events being planned and they are now posted on the website.  Please be sure to check out the calendar and save the date(s)!  The Winter Clinic/Lecture Series is back for 2010 - don't forget that some of these are lectures designed for auditors.  If you are like some of us the horses are furry in the field and getting a (perhaps) well deserved winter break - so come join us to get a jump start on spring.

Northeast Regional Adult Amateur Dressage Championships (NRAADC)

  - The CDCTA is going to sponsor a team again this year for the NRAADC in the fall.  We are reminding everyone NOW that you need to be a member as of March 31, have volunteered at a club event and HAVE A FREESTYLE for the Championships.  So, to avoid any hard feelings in the fall - make sure you join now, help out at an event (or two or three!) during the year, and you might also want to attend the Musical Freestyle Clinic on February 21 to get a head start on your freestyle!
